How We're Rocking Election Day 2020

At Shuttlerock, we may be a global company with teams spread across four continents, but we believe that making an impact starts at home, in each of our own communities.

This year has been unlike any other, and while there have been some difficult times and raw conversations, something else has shown through as well: the passion of our team to stand up and speak out for their beliefs, and a desire to make the world a better place.

Inspired by those moments, we have made the decision to designate Election Day 2020 in the United States as a company holiday. This ensures members of our team have time to cast their own ballots, volunteer at the polls, or participate in 'get-out-the-vote' or other civic engagement efforts.

At Shuttlerock we believe that strong democratic processes enhance society and all of our individual lives, and that no one should have to forgo financial income to exercise their constitutional right to vote.

On November 3rd we are proud to give our team the day to demonstrate their civic duties and have their voice heard. In addition, we are also encouraging every Shuttlerocker to use this time to spread kindness, whether that be by volunteering in their communities or simply lending a neighbor a helping hand.

We asked our U.S team members:

What does voting in this election
mean to you?
